If you follow me on instagram then you'll know that I have been off the grid-ish trekking around Montreal looking at apartments for the last week. You'll also know that my data plan started to suicide itself and all my moment-capturing came to a halt. Instead, I turned to my trusty, regular ol' iphone camera to try and salvage my documentation of our trip however, by then I'd become rusty with the habit. Above are 20 snap shots of our trip - mostly food and mostly from the weekend.
I had to head into the office for work Monday through Wednesday which, although very nice for my 9 - 5 social skills, put a major damper on the stuffing of my face. No worries though, Jack and I move end of August so I don't have long to wait until it becomes my full-time job...
Montreal is the best in the Summer! I'm glad to hear you are enjoying your trip, hope you find the perfect apartment soon!

Oh My! Pardon me while I drool all over my keyboard! Now this is my kind of weekend!! I've never been to Montreal, but it's been on my list for awhile. It's amazing how a city can be only a couple provinces away but still be so far! Ah well, someday. Thanks for sharing these wonderful pictures! XO
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's been in the works for a little while as I've been working from home but it's now sneaking up pretty quickly! Plus, I've been having such an amazing time in Halifax over the last year that it's a bit of a bummer...
ReplyDeleteIt was gorgeous! We move in September so we will miss most of it but at least we'll get a little taste. Now that we'll be living close you'll have to let us know if you're ever in Montreal and need help on one of your films! We both have some experience and love getting involved with new and exciting projects!
ReplyDeleteIt's so tough with Canada because it's so big and you're right, a couple provinces is a HUGE distance! Plus the flights are so expensive, BUT if you get the chance you definitely need to make the trip - just not in the winter!
