guys, I got confused. I've had this idea in my head all week that it's March. and not only have I been thinking it's March but I've been acting as though it's the kind of March one would have living on the west coast - the warmer coast - not smack in the middle of POLAR VORTEX central.

The cold, hard truth finally hit me this morning like an ice wall on a mission. Clearly, the cold won and my attempts to grab a few outfit shots (it's been oh-so-long) were instantly shut down. On the up side, I'm currently toasty and still have all my fingers. I guess I'll just have to share my indoor outfit once the weather starts to play fair.

Guuuuys, Seriously, where IS spring!? I know, I know, it's not even April but this winter weather is killing me! All I want is to don my pastels and pretty floral frocks but it just doesn't feel right once I wrap a scarf around my face and throw on my parka. I suppose there's a  silver lining... I mean, I got to share with you this outfit I've been wearing on repeat all winter AND it's still acceptable for me to not bother shaving my legs regularly for another couple weeks.

One of my favourite parts of the holiday season are the never-ending excuses to dress up!

i.e. Holiday parties, Holiday get-togethers, dinners, do-drops, and just every day fanciness.

You rarely have to feel over-dressed and you always get to feel extra pretty,

just like you did back in the day heading out for the semi-formal.

Although in this case you don't have to switch gears between KC&JoJo and Nervana every few minutes.

We've been stacking our holiday commitments about 3Deep per day and the big saving grace, 

for me, has been relishing in the festive outfits. 

Don't get me wrong, the friends and family we're seeing are pretty great too, but when it comes down to it, 

they don't really hold a candle to this wrapping-paper style cupcake dress. 

Sorry guys, maybe next year.
