I was trying to decide whether this outfit was an office go-to, weekend stand-by or the perfect attire for grabbing drinks in the winter (no dancing included) when I realized, I've worn this ensemble for all of these situations! Casual Friday at the office with my flat ankle boots; running errands and coffee dates with black riding boots; and out for drinks, on more than one occasion, with my wedges. It may just be me, but this seems to be one flexible outfit! If you run into me before March, let's just agree to pretend it's the first time you've seen me wearing these pieces. k, thanks :)
You're right! It does seem like a very versatile outfit! Lovely choice ;)

I really like the pairing of the looser sweater with the fitted skirt. I'm having trouble figuring this out from the photos, but did you tuck the sweater in or does it naturally sit nicely at the waistline of the skirt?

Thanks! It's actually not tucked in. I did do a little strategic placement to have it sit just-so at the waist line, but once it was there it stayed :)

I love this look, head to toe. I need a sweater like that that's a bit shorter so that it keeps the waistline of a skirt in tact. I hate it when sweaters are too long for a skirt and drown out your figure, ya know? You look lovely as usual, Sorren :)
