Big News

It seems 2011 - 2012 is my year for news. I dont know what's in the water I've been drinking but it's making my life very eventful!

My newest newsiest news is that I am leaving my position as Account Coordinator at my beloved Halifax advertising and branding agency for the position of Marketing Specialist with a division of Air Miles!

Why is it, the minute you become happy with your surroundings and begin to enjoy the task at hand is the same minute something comes along to shake it all up?? Why can't things like this happen when you're in a position where you're undervalued and underused? Life would be so much simpler if it worked that way... but it doesn't. It just doesn't.

This was honestly one of the most difficult decisions I've had to make, and this company is one of the hardest things I've had to walk away from [I seriously loved this company, my work, my clients and my coworkers] but I must say, I'm excited to see what's in store. Every person I've had the pleasure of talking to at Air Miles has been so wonderful and I can't wait to get to know them better.

AND! Even more exciting than nice people is that taking this position means there's a move in store for Jack and I. A move to Montreal to be exact! My new employers have been very accommodating so we won't have to uproot immediately, but we will be moving come June or September - our call. Jack and I have been trying to move for the last four years so it's really exciting that the opportunity has finally presented itself ...and it obviously doesn't hurt that Montreal is an amazing city

So, with this news out of the way and in the open, I leave you with one of my favorite, recent office ensembles.

Pink Martini cardigan (similar) | Simple black dress (similar) | MacGregor tights (similar)
Franco Sarto pumps (similar) | Stella & Dot odette link pendant

  16. Thanks! Isn't it fun when the tough decisions become based on things like "which job do I love more?" instead of "how long am I okay with being undervalued until I need to call it quits?"
