That's right folks!
My Film5 application is submitted and this weekend was ALL MINE!!
(breathe a sigh of relief)
Well at least Saturday was mine,
Sunday was for podcamp, but that's another story.
Friday night I celebrated an awesome gal's birthday,
then trudged through the post-storm streets to get home (well worth it).
Saturday morning I brunched, did a little light shopping
and then got my butt back home to thoroughly clean my apartment.
After weeks of working on that application our place was a mess.
Coats thrown on the kitchen chairs, make up strewn across the coffee table,
and piles of clothes, waiting to be worn, stacked around our room.
It was rough, but I had 3 weeks worth of Vampire Diaries to keep me company.
On a lovely note, we managed a delicious dinner and a movie,
so it wasn't all soap, bubbles, scrubbing and cleaning.
What'd you all get up to this past weekend?

Your weekend sounds like all kinds of awesome! How on earth did you manage to fit all that into two days ~ serious organization ;)

ReplyDeleteHooray for being done with the application! :D
ReplyDeletemy weekend was pretty low key. Celebrated a friend's bday and then did a huge grocery run at Costco. It feels so good to have a stocked fridge... oh, the little things.
Such an awesome outfit! Love the booties :)

Ever so chic, Sorren. My weekend involved playing a lot of music and singing despite being super sick. And then crashing after exerting all that energy, until I regained enough strength to bake chocolate chip cookies. My Monday has involved devouring all of those cookies.

I also had a weekend to myself after a few weeks of craziness. It felt good!
ReplyDeleteCool outfit and btw, I really love the brick wall you use for your pictures.
OHH I know what you mean! Looking into a stocked fridge gives me a warm feeling of accomplishment, so silly but so great!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I bought it two years ago and have been slowly working it in. It's so short though, so there are very few ways to style it appropriately!
ReplyDeleteIt's getting so serious! I caught up on the 3 new episodes of the new year and they were awesome! I cannot wait for more!
ReplyDeleteI got the tunic from a local boutique called Sweet Pea Boutique, the blazer was from club monaco and the clutch is matt & nat! I need to get back into the habit of recording the outfit details :S
ReplyDeleteThank you! It was definitely the detailing that caught my eye in the first place!
ReplyDeleteughh, I've been fighting off colds ever since December and luckily I have been knocked out yet... although I'm sure I just jinxed myself.
ReplyDeletehah thanks! it was stuffed pretty full, I'm hoping the first weekend in February is a little more relaxing.
ReplyDeletehah thanks! ...although the apartment definitely took a turn for the worst tonight :P
ReplyDeleteThanks! We've got some exposed brick in our apartment but the little is yellowish so when it's cold out we head up to the staircase in our apartment building!
ReplyDeleteThanks! They're such a great go-to!

This little dress looks great on you! I'm glad I'm not the only one who avoids housework when I have 'more important' things to do. Vampire Diaries is a good companion for house cleaning.
ReplyDeleteCool. Well it looks really good :)
ReplyDeleteOooh I love this dress with the blazer! Perfect for a night out :) Sounds like a really productive weekend! Mine wasn't as fun, had to work and then run errands blech.
