Everybody. Everywear: Coloured Pants

Club Monaco blazer | American Eagle Outfitters top | Second Vintage jeans | Michael Kors booties | Rack and Sack watch

Happy Everybody, Everywear everyone!! What are you doing to celebrate?
I baked a cake, put some candles in it, and now
I'm trying to eat it real quick before Jack gets home.
What? You didn't think I was the type to share did you?
Sharing is lame, maowing down a whole cake by your lonesome is cool.

I was so excited to see coloured pants as the challenge this month!
(even though I don't own any. I actually had to borrow these from my friend, Ruby.)
I have been meaning to buy a pair BUT
1. I want a purple or red or yellow pair and haven't come across any of those yet and
2. I should be saving money for my wedding rather than buying BEAUTIFUL coloured jeans.
However, now I am hooked.
They're all I can think about. They're all I want.
I. love. them.
Coloured jeans make life easy, especially when you own
an absurd amount of grey and black items, like me.

OH! and If you haven't entered my giveaway yet, make sure you do - you won't regret it.
This shampoo is amazing.
I'm on Day 3 hair!
...granted it's curled so that's kind of a cheat but who cares!? Day 3!

  3. I found your blog through they Everybody, Everywhere link and I really like it here! I also have a closet full of grey and black, I totally agree that color jeans are an easy way to make these items look brand new. If only I wasn't on a self-imposed shopping band right now- 17 days left and then cobalt blue pants- here I come!

  4. These are lovely, I can understand why you are hooked. Looks really great with the black & grey accents. Have you thought about dyeing something cheap red or yellow? I know there was a tutorial for that on the EBEW page.

  5. Too cute!! First, I love the cobalt blue pants and love how you paired them with the grey and black blazer. Second, that is too funny that you plan to eat a whole cake, but I'm with you... I'd do the same thing!! LOL Thrid, YES, you have got to go buy you atleast one pair of colored denim, even though you are planning a wedding. LOL Love your blog, new follower here and found you via EBEW. :)

  7. I came across a purple pair of pants in Forever 21! But they were BRIGHT purple... still sort of tempting.

We're both wearing blue pants in our EBEWs. I love how you styled yours, though. Your heels are gorgeous!!!

  8. Holy cow. NOTHING about this that I don't love. The cobalt with heather grey? With the pop of the red bag and the amazing boots. Just awesome. I'm wearing mine (red) with a blazer too...

  9. Even though those pants aren't yours, they look fabulous on you.

  15. You should check out the thrift stores for colored denim. I have found all 3 of mine there! Love how you paired the gray and black with the cobalt!

  16. Amazing heels! J Brand usually has the most delectably coloured pants, although rather expensive, of course. I've also had luck with Cheap Mondays or Blank, although (probably because they're way less expensive) they both tend to fade rather quickly. Solution: don't ever wash them! Easy peasy.

  17. I agree, colored pants are awesome! I'm in the same boat as you in that I really need to buy a pair but spending the money is hard. At least you had a great friend who was willing to let you borrow those ones!

  18. Heck yes, I am celebrating with a cinnamon-sprinkled pear (time to go to the grocery store obvi if this is as sugary as I've got). Love your hair, bag, and heels. Great styling is what I'm saying!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Phew! I'm glad someone else has some sense and is onboard with this cake eating business :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thanks! I got the bag in New Minas (a small town in Nova Scotia). I only started using it recently but I knew when I found it that I couldn't walk away, and now I'm happy I didn't!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yes! Thank you! Edgy and chic was totally what I was going for. I am definitely going to have to wear this heel and jean combo again

    ReplyDelete
  41. ahahahah I seriously laughed out loud when I read this. It's the same as my minimalist pattern mixing I suppose... and no worries, I know you and are beyond any backhanded girl comments - it's all love between the two of us :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Thanks! The watch is from Rack and Sack which sells tons of vintage accessories.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Thanks! I must admit, all credit goes to my new shampoo... before it I could never hope to last 3 days without a hair wash

    ReplyDelete
  44. Um, yeah. you definitely need to get to the grocery store stat... although, not going to lie, that cinnamon sprinkled pear sounds wonderful.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I am definitely going to have to check out J Brand, and I think Biscuit may carry Cheap Mondays which would totally work for me because I never wash my jeans... seriously, it's a little gross.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Oh! That is a great idea! Usually thrift stores overwhelm me but I think it may be worth it this time.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Awww shucks, thanks! EBEW is the absolute best for finding new blog friends.

    ReplyDelete
  48. haha any time I wear a new pair of shoes I mayyyy think of you and your shoe love... creepy? I hope not :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  50. haha I love how you have given me new strength to track down the perfect pair of coloured denim - you are right, it is a MUST!!

I love how you styled your mustard denim with the red blouse and contrast of black on your shoes! So bold, so amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I may look into dying.. although I would have to track down some white denim first since I only own one pair of those and love them too much to turn them purple!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Shopping bans are tough but so good to do once in a while. You are SO close to finishing off yours, are you planning a big shopping party for the day after!?
